What happens after I photograph a card?
The certification scanner reads up to ten cards in one pass and turns them into structured records — name, type, dates — so you can set the expiry instead of typing it from a photo. A person still approves the record. Verification is never automatic.
When do expiry warnings go out?
The product raises a reminder at 30, 14, 7, 3, and 1 days before a certification expires. Email and SMS go out on the last week (7, 3, and 1). After it lapses, reminders keep going for three months. Admins see who is valid, expiring, and expired on the certification list.
Can someone on site check a card without an app?
Print a QR sticker for a hard hat or badge. Anyone with a phone camera can scan it and see that person’s current credentials and training status. No download.
Do workers pay for a seat?
No. A paid company plan includes the crew. A worker with no employer subscription can still keep a free personal certification wallet — their own cards, shared only when they choose.
I am a safety consultant. Is this the same plan?
No. Consultant plans are a different buyer: many client companies in one pane, priced on client-company links, not employee seats. Use the consultant signup — it does not put you on a company ladder.
Does RivetSAFE include a training library of courses?
You build and assign your own courses in the Learning Center — graded quizzes, auto-certification on pass. Rivet does not ship a catalog of packaged courses.
