1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Rivet's construction management platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Rivet provides a cloud-based construction management platform that includes estimating, project management, change order tracking, daily work orders, and related tools for construction professionals.
3. User Accounts
To use our Service, you must:
- Create an account with accurate information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
4. Subscription and Payment
Access to certain features requires a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:
- Pay all applicable fees based on your selected plan
- Pay usage-based charges for AI features used beyond your plan's included monthly allowance, billed per request at the rates published on our pricing page (currently $0.20–$0.50 per request depending on your tier). Overage charges are added to your next subscription invoice, and current usage is always visible in your account dashboard.
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Provide accurate billing information
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with other users' use of the Service
- Upload malicious code or content
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Rivet and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data uploaded to the Service.
7. Data Ownership
You retain all rights to your data. We will not share, sell, or use your data for purposes other than providing and improving the Service. You can export or delete your data at any time.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rivet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
